Linfield’s varsity football team added another win to their record in their final home league game against Western Christian. The Lions had numerous contributors to their 59-0 final score over the Fighting Lancers. WR Travion Brown earned four of the Lions’ TDs, and also had an interception. Kickers Anthony Santoro and Carden Taylor followed up the TDs with three PATs. Lions ended the first quarter 33-0.
Backup QB Micah Knipps ran the ball in for another touchdown, followed by WR Christian Vines, Jalen Leonard, Colin Maher, and RB Blake Allen to put the Lions up 59-0 heading into halftime. Linfield maintained their defensive shutout, with a 59-0 score through the third and fourth quarters. Linfield moves to 2-1 in the Ambassador League, 5-3 overall. They will travel to Riverside Community College to face Notre Dame on Friday, October 27th. Kickoff at 7:00 pm.
