Earlier this month, Allie DeSimone competed in the World Champion Hunter Rider Regional Finals held at Menlo Charity Horse Show outside San Francisco. DeSimone and her horse, Lord Livingston (Levi) swept the Children Hunters bringing home Champion for the week (ages 14-17), Grand Champion (ages 14-17 and 13& U combined total of 37 riders), Horse of the Year (total points accumulated for the year) and Best Children Hunter Rider.
DeSimone, along with 21 other riders competed in the 14-17 age group seeking to improve their regional scores. DeSimone placed 4th in WCHR zone 10 (Southwest) for the year. She and Levi qualified for and will travel to Washington DC in October for The Capital Challenge, where riders from all over the nation will compete.
