Athletes of the Month: November
Every month the athletic department will recognize 1 boy and 1 girl from both the High School and 1 Athlete per sport, per month at the Middle School campus for outstanding athletic achievement. These candidates are nominated by coaches and voted on by the athletics staff.

Sienna Blanche
Sienna has never run cross country before until this year. Not only is she a great sprinter, but she is also showing her strength and endurance. She has consistently been our #1 runner and is an “All League” contender this year (Top 12 runner in the Ambassador League). She is a lot of fun to coach and is a great teammate. Her future is bright!

Ben Coleman
Ben has emerged as a leader on the varsity football team this season. He takes to heart the importance of working hard and challenges his fellow Lions to be better on and off the field. He also makes those he plays against better as he has become one of the best players in the league and area. He currently leads the Ambassador League in sacks, and is second in tackles. He is a charismatic young man that has an unlimited ceiling in potential, with a desire to play at the collegiate level. Most importantly, he loves the Lord and desires to please Him.
MIDDLE SCHOOL
Caroline Blount
Caroline did an amazing job this season! This was her first year playing volleyball. In three months, she has really excelled with her passing abilities. She was instrumental as a starter in our first three games, filling in for a sick teammate. She is always encouraging to other players and boldly gets on the court to play. It has been a pleasure to coach her! We look forward to what a great player she will become if she continues to play throughout her middle school and high school years.
Emily Bohmer
Emily is one of two captains and has honored God, Linfield, and her team this year in action and attitude both on and off the court. Emily is always positive and encouraging to her teammates and leads by example. This season, Emily led her team to a 7-2 season by setting 285 balls resulting in 87 Kills. She also led her team in serving with 93% accuracy and 58 aces. Congratulations Emily, you are an exceptional athlete and you consistently demonstrate the character of Christ.
Bailey Hanson
Bailey has had an awesome season in Cross Country! She has placed in Linfield’s top 5 girls at every meet. Her amazing race at League Finals helped her team secure a 2nd place team finish. Bailey always shows commitment, hard work, humility and true team spirit. Bailey had her PR for this season of 14:45 for 2 miles. She is a very talented athlete and a strong Christlike example.
Logan Pledger
Hardworking, respectful, humble, kind, and Christlike are just several words to describe Logan. Logan had an awesome cross country season. He placed in the top ten at all his meets out of 200+ runners! He was Linfield's #2 runner at every meet. He received his all time cross country PR this season with a time of 11:43 for the 2 mile race. Logan is an amazing athlete who has many exciting races ahead of him.
Nathan Silva
Nathan is a great athlete, and an ever greater role model. Nathan is respectful, never complains, brings a positive spirit to the field, and is always an encouragement to his team. Nathan allows his playing on the field do his talking. Whether he is scoring touchdowns, learning new plays, or cheering on his team from the sidelines, Nathan exemplifies a true Champion.
Sierra Snow
Sierra has been a leader on the tackle football team this year. Her presence and character have made her a leader on the team. She has played every game this year and as both offensive tackle and defensive tackle for the team. She is a team first athlete who gives her all on every snap from start to finish.
